Since TARGET IIT & TARGET MBBS are relatively difficult for the average learner, it is more suited to hardworking, above average and intelligent students. Especially taking the IQ level of the child of age group 2 ½ years, the play way method conceptualized Method has been giving encouraging results. Divya Jyoti SR. Sec. School adopted the new trends of teaching and coaching where learning takes place through fun and frolic.
Each class is made up of a group of 25 students and sufficient tools are provided for them in the process of learning. The M2 & M3 are more exposed to the educational tools and are asked to do a number of minor tasks. They are made to get involved in learning Rhymes, Numbers, and Alphabets in English, Hindi and conversational practice in English.
The faculty for this age group is trained and very well experienced with their approach and thorough training is imparted to the children.
Parents who are interested in more conventional method for their children can opt for Pre-Primary learning through Nursery, LKG, UKG. All the subjects Hindi, English, Mathematics, and Environmental Sciences are taught. In addition, GK, Rhymes, Story telling and Drawing are also given equal importance.
The minimum age for admission into Nursery is 3 years and the admission take place during Feb/March of every academic year.
The syllabus for classes I to V is a mix of H.P Board & CBSE with high standard. The main focus is on English, Mathematics, Science and Social studies. Some additional subjects like GK, VE, Computer, Drawing and Environmental Sciences are given importance along with the languages English and Hindi.
State syllabus is followed in VI and 10+2. To gear up the spirit of competitive examinations and spoken skills in English, GK, and grammar are given importance at par with regular curriculum. The main focus is on all round development of the child.
The excellent academics coupled with digital class rooms and wonderful co curricular extracurricular activities to promote all round development to bring out best from every student. An integrated foundation course TARGET IIT / TARGET MBBS is introduced from VIII class onwards as a part of regular curriculum for classes VIII, IX & X along state syllabus.
Based on the latest syllabus, the course caters to the requirements of competitive examinations. High standards are maintained throughout and due weightage is given to numerical problems.

One month’s calendar notice in writing or one month’s fees in lieu thereof is required to be
paid before the withdrawal of a student from the school. Transfer Certificate will only be
issued after all the outstanding dues are cleared. Fees once paid are non-refundable.
Every student is expected to have 100% attendance. In case of unavoidable reasons, a formal application should be submitted to the Headmistress. In case of illness, a medical certificate should accompany the leave application.
The school will emphasise on active involvement of parents/guardians in the education process of their children. Active involvement and unstinting support are required for the all-round development of their wards. Parents/guardians are expected to attend the Parent-Teacher Meetings which will be held at regular intervals throughout the year to discuss the performance/difficulties/any other problem of their children. Parents are requested to study the reports with care and consult the school authorities if necessary. They are also welcome to visit the school to meet the Headmistress/Class Teacher during specified hours to discuss their child’s progress.
